Personal Income Tax Payment Options

You can make your payment to CRA by mail or through your financial institution.

MAIL PAYMENTS

Electronically filed – attach your cheque to Form T7DR(A), Efile remittance form, and mail to:

Canada Revenue Agency
875 Heron Road
OTTAWA, ON K1A 1B1

Paper filed – staple cheque to the front page of the paper filed return, write social insurance number on the front or back of the cheque, and mail to the appropriate tax centre.

PAYMENTS MADE THROUGH YOUR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION

You can make your payment free of charge at your financial institution in Canada. If your return was electronically filed and you want to make your payment in person, you have to use Form T7DR(A), Efile Remittance Form, which we will provide to you. You cannot use a photocopy of a remittance form to make a payment at your financial institution. CRA forms are printed with magnetic ink characters to allow for processing through the banking system. Photocopies do not contain magnetic ink and are refused by financial institutions.

If you want to make your payment online or by using telephone banking and need assistance, please contact our office.
